Red Rock Canyon A Natural Wonder

In the Paleozoic Era (the earliest of the three geological eras of the Phanerozoic Eon), over 600 million years ago, the Red Rock area was located under a deep ocean basin. Million of years later due to tectonic shifts, the water was forced out exposing the former sea bed. Some of the rock oxidized and this caused the red rocks seen today.

The Day The World Lost Michael Jackson

I am deeply saddened by the sudden and unexpected death of somone who in my opinion was a great entertainer but who was greatly misunderstood. Someone who was loved the world over. No one else comes close...truly irreplaceable.

Now that he's gone we should remember him for who he was - a beautiful and talented human being - and for what he wanted for the world - peace. Let's give him the peace in death that he never got in life.

Childhood

Have you seen my childhood?
I'm searching for the world that I
come from
'Cause I've been looking around
In the lost and found of my heart....
No one understands me
They view it as such strange eccentricities...

'Cause I keep kidding around
Like a child, but pardon me..
People say I'm not okay
'Cause I love such elementary things...
It's been my fate to compensate, for the
Childhood
I've never known...

Have you seen my childhood?
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like pirates and adventurous dreams,
Of conquest and kings on the throne...

Before you judge me, try hard to love me,
Look within your heart then ask,
Have you seen my childhood?

People say I'm strange that way
'Cause I love such elementary things,
It's been my fate to compensate,
For the childhood I've never known...

Have you seen my childhood?
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like fantastical stories to share
The dreams I would date, what me fly....

Before you judge me, try hard to love me.
The painful youth I've had

Have you seen my childhood?

Written & Composed by Michael Jackson

Michael has said that if fans want to know about him they should listen to this song and watch the video. He also said it was the most personal song he's ever written.

Georgetown, Guyana

Named after King George III, Georgetown, Guyana is filled with tree lined streets and avenues, and picturesque wooden colonial buildings. This simple, under-developed country has incredible potential - rich in bauxite, diamonds, gold, sugar cane, and timber. It is where I was born and after years of living in Canada it is where I still refer to as home.

Welcome

When I was a child I suffered from motion sickness and because of this travelling involved me crawling into the back seat of my grandfather's car and sleeping until we reached our destination. I never looked out of the window to see the sights between point A and point B. It wouldn't be until years later that I finally saw what I had missed.

I have since been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit and what I have seen has opened my eyes, broadened my mind and profoundly changed my life.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you'll come back anf follow me as I explore and discover the world around us.
